7 | SUPPORT TO POOR AND VULNERABLE POPULATIONS Sri Lanka – Legal Aid for Conflict – Affected Vulnerable Groups Focus on: conflict-affected groups, IDPs, estate sector workers, pre-trial detainees, female-headed households and victims of gender based violence Mobile legal clinics Capacity development of community based duty-bearers and claim holders Strengthening Legal Aid Service providers

8 | SUPPORT TO POOR AND VULNERABLE POPULATIONS China - Migrant Workers Establishment of 20 migrant workers legal aid Offices (after Zicheng Pilot) Sharp decrease in Violation (i.e. unpaid salaries). 19,324 cases settled (31,843 migrant workers) covering about $60 million

9 | SUPPORT TO LEGAL FRAMEWORKS Indonesia – Legal Aid and National Development Planning National Access to Justice Strategy (part of the National Medium Term Development Plan) Strengthening Civil Society to provide access to information and free legal assistance Indonesia Legal Aid Law passed (2011) requiring legal counsel be available to all Legal empowerment of communities
