Everything that has life need water. It quenches our thirst. Water cleans, it washes away dirt. That is why God commands us to be baptized in HIS name.

When you say something wrong or bad have the children sit. When it is the right thing or good have them stand. Example: Hit the little girl (bad) The children should be sitting. Share with the little boy, without. (good) The children should stand.

Art Project As you are telling the children how God breathed life into all of us, have them make a simple wind chime

5. THE KING IS HERE! MARCH 29,2015 Memory Verse: “Hosanna to the son of David” Prayer: “Thank you Jesus for coming to earth to save us.” Activity: Get a ball, throw it to one child at a time, when they catch it they have to say something that would honor God.

6. THAT’S GOOD NEWS! APRIL 5, 2015 Memory Verse: “Now is Christ risen from the dead” Activity: Make Praying Hands. You can pre cut folding hands, fold and have children decorate on one side and a thank you note on the other side.

7. SHOW LOVE APRIL 12,2015 Memory Verse: “These things I command you, that ye love one another” Have the children tell ways they can show love. (action) Example: Draw a picture for your teacher saying “Thank You” Smile and say “Hello”

8. LOVING GOD’S CHILDREN APRIL 19, 2015 Memory Verse: “If God so loved us, we ought also to love one another” Song: Trust and Obey Prayer: Lord please help me to love my brothers and my sisters and to obey Your word.

9. WATCH OUT! APRIL 26, 2015 “Ye therefore… beware” Activity : Have the children play red light green light. Use a red flag and a green flag, explain that they have to know the warning sign in order to know what to do.

10. SHARE THE TRUTH MAY 3, 2015 Memory Verse: “[Distribute] to the necessity of saints; [give] to hospitality” Song: Welcome, Welcome to our Sunday School, Jesus loves you and we love you too.. Etc… Prayer: Lord help me to have a welcoming spirit. Activity: Help the children make a welcome sign.

11. EVERYONE IS SPECIAL MAY 10, 2015 Memory Verse: “For it is God which worketh in you…to do of his good pleasure” Activity: Have pre –cut outs of the human body. (head, arms, hands, ears eyes, mouth, legs feet ect..) Let the children paste together the parts and explain how he have different parts making up one body. Just like in the body of Christ we have many gifts for the church’s common good.

12. ONE BODY, MANY PARTS MAY 17, 2015 Memory Verse: “Now ye are the body of Christ and members in particular” ACTIVITY: Get a picture cut into 4 pieces. Talk to the children about the many pieces making up one picture. As in the body of Christ, many people making up one body. ( You may also choose to use a picture of a human body. Refer to previous lessons picture of the body.)

13. MAKING SENSE MAY 24, 2015 Memory Verse: “They were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues” Activity: Cut out different faces ( happy, sad, angry etc..) Ask the children to tell you what emotions they see. Explain to them without words you can still communicate. Prayer: Lord please fill me with your precious gift of tongues.

14. FOREVER LOVE MAY 31, 2015 Memory Verse: “Charity never faileth” Song: Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so! Prayer: Lord I love you, let me have the same love you have for me, for others. Activity: Let the children cut out a heart and give it to the person of their choosing.
