3.  Depression is when someone feels bad about themselves and is always sad and upset about something going on in their life.  People can go into depression for many reasons and it could last from a few weeks to years, it depends on how the individual is handling themselves during the time when they are depressed. 4.  Juliet took the potion and everyone thought she had died. Romeo went to go and find her, not knowing it was only a potion for her to fall in a deep sleep. When Romeo found Juliet "dead" he decided to kill himself because he couldn't live without him. Juliet woke up to find Romeo dead after the potion came off and Romeo had killed himself, she also killed herself because she couldn't live without Romeo. 5.  In Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is depressed at the beginning of the story because of Rosaline. He was in the woods by himself because of how upset he was. He didn’t do any damage to himself but without the help of Mercutio, his best friend he may have, because Romeo may not have known what to do besides since he was so depressed and not knowing how to handle the situation. 6.  In Romeo and Juliet, Romeo and Juliet fall in love at first sight. But when Romeo finds out Juliet is a Capulet he goes into depression again because he is really in love with her. 7.  A lot of teens are into drugs. They take drugs to fit in, to make them feel important and some even don’t want to take drugs but do because of peer pressure.  Drugs can lead to suicide and depression because if you get addicted to the drugs then you will feel like you have to have them or you aren’t good without them which can lead you to killing yourself or being depressed for a long time. 8.  Suicide and Depression can also lead to drugs.  If you are very depressed then you may feel like the only thing that makes you happy is taking drugs.  If you are feeling suicidal it can lead you to trying to kill yourself by using drugs. 9.  Suicide has a big affect on teens because a lot teens are committing suicide.  Teens kill themselves because of many reasons.  One big way teens commit suicide is by drugs.  There are drugs just around a normal house people can take to kill themselves. 15.  Unfortunately many teens have been committing suicide in the past few years.  Teens commit suicide for a variety of reasons. Being bullied, family situations, insecurities, friend problems etc.  Today bullying is big problem within the schools and online (cyber-bullying).  There are many accesses for bullies to get to people which cause them to be hurt and is a reason for a lot of the suicides in teens. 16.  Like suicide a lot of teens are in depression.  Depression is when you aren’t feeling good about yourself and are always sad for any reason, many are the same as why people commit suicide.  Depression is a big problem and can last a long time. It can cause the person to not make good decisions because they are doing whatever makes them feels good even if it is only for a moment. One of these choices is doing drugs. 17.  Drugs are a big problem today  The reason teens start drugs is usually based off of school and how teens are pressured into doing things. Many teens at school are left out and have the feeling or thought that they need to do drugs to fit in.  Media is also a problem because it shows kids it is “cool” and “what famous people do” which lets them know it’s fine to do, even though it’s not. 18.  Suicide and Depression have a HUGE impact on teenagers today. Bullying, Peer pressure, media, family, friends all can be a cause of why teens feel the need to be suicidal or depressed. It can affect the way they are socially and mentally. When you are a teen everything to matters to you, and anything someone says to you they take into account of their life and it can play a huge role in how they are living. If they are in depression it can be because of something someone had said to them big or small. If they are depressed it can lead to drugs or even suicide.
