3. I reside in Winston Salem, NC. I reside in Winston Salem, NC. I have one 5 year old daughter, Emiyah, and a Pekingese dog (male) named Chewy. My father was in the Army for about 32 years and my mother, siblings, and I traveled a lot. I grew up mainly in Germany and other places in the United States. I’ve worked in a public elementary school as a Kindergarten Teacher Assistant for 9 1/2 years until I was laid off because of a reduction in force. I currently work in a charter school as a K-2 Curriculum Coach. I taught as a Lateral Entry 1 st Grade Teacher last school year and the beginning of this school year. My position 2 years ago at this same charter school was a Kindergarten Teacher Assistant. I graduated in May 2011 from Elizabeth City State University with a B.A. in Sociology. I obtained my Master's in Business Administration specializing in Finance from Ashford University May 2013. I am now pursuing a Master in Education specializing in Early Childhood Education because I love working with children. 5. Most Influential Design and Development Challenge  A challenge I experienced in coursework was having to use new software such as Prezi and Present.me for the first time. I had never used these software before and saw myself getting frustrated.  I overcame this challenge by just going ahead and using the software. After continuing to use the software for numerous assignments in more classes I grew to love using the software.
