Dear Lord, help me: To love you more each day and to realize how much you love me. Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Matthew 6:30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

Dear Lord, help me: To love others with a sincere concern for their needs and interests. Matthew 22:39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 1 John 3:18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. Philippians 2:4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Dear Lord, help me: To be more devoted to my family, and give them the spiritual guidance that I should. Ephesians 5:28 In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. Ephesians 6:4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Dear Lord, help me: To have a greater concern for the lost in the world and the courage to turn that concern into action. Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. Revelation 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Dear Lord, help me: To be more devoted to my brothers and sisters in Christ. To watch more carefully for their times of trial and commit myself to be there for them regardless of my struggles Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Romans 12:10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

Dear Lord, help me: To have greater confidence in your Word. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Dear Lord, help me: To be more spiritually minded. Colossians 3:2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. Ephesians 4:17-24

Dear Lord, help me: To better resist temptation – to love doing right and hate doing what you have forbidden. James 4:7, 8 Romans 12:9 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.

Dear Lord, help me: To have more patience with others, remembering how much patience you have with me. 1 Corinthians 13:4a Love is patient and kind;… Romans 2:3-5

Dear Lord, help me: When I have a hard time forgiving others. Matthew 6:14,15 Matthew 7:2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. 1 Peter 2:21-24

Dear Lord, help me: Help me to realize every moment that you are with me. Let that awareness change the way I act, and think, and treat others Matthew 28:20b …And lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the age. Hebrews 13:5b …I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Dear Lord, help me: To seek heaven more than anything else, realizing this world is not my home. Matthew 6:19,20; 33 2 Corinthians 4:16-5:2

Dear Lord, help me: To realize that any moment you could return in judgment. 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. Matthew 24:45-51
