6 Students Students are in Grade 2 of vocational school. The students may have known success, wealth and love, but they seldom think of their relationships. Maybe some students are not active in the class because they are afraid of speaking English. When the students are discussing, the teacher can give them some hints to help them finish the task. When the students have got the general ideas and details of the text, they may be not very clear about some language points. They think it is difficult to use these language points to make sentences or express themselves.

Give the students three pictures about wealth, success and love and ask them to think about the relationships among success, wealth and love. 2.Ask the students to show their ideas. success wealthlove Purpose: 1. But, not every student could tell this story according to the key words in such a short time. In next lesson, the teacher may point out these key words first, and then ask the students to make sentences and retell the text using key words.

30 Teaching Reflection: Although most of the students understood the meaning of language points, some of them couldn’t use language points flexibly. When reviewing the language points, the teacher may ask the students themselves to summarize the usage. When teaching new language points, the teacher should teach the language points step by step, from presentation to practice to application, which will help the students master the language points. Besides, the teacher should ask the students to understand and memorize the language points in time.
