Coursera Report Stats 4 th Coursera Partners Conference, Theme: “Better Education for a Better World.” “We have a bold vision to enable anyone, anywhere to transform their life by accessing the world’s best learning experience, and an accompanying opportunity to re-imagine learning in the 21st century.” Coursera has grown to serve over 18 million learners. In 2015 (together) we: Launched 579 courses and 67 Specializations across a diverse range of subject areas; Demonstrated that course completers see tremendous career and educational benefits; Granted over 100,000 financial aid applications to expand educational access to learners from limited economic backgrounds.

Coursera Portal SUNY Global Free Access to Content Revenue from Elective Verified Certificate BSC 50% Coursera $100,000 for SBU Specialization E.g.: $50,000 Contract = Single $ POC @ System Adm. UB Broome CC BSC ESC SBU 75% $37,500 25% $12,500 Coursera Revenue is split 50/50 with the partner (SUNY). Members of the POSAC MOOC Group suggested the campus receive 75% of the SUNY Share, with 25% returning to the Office of the Provost to cover administration costs (salary recovery, etc.) Coursera Revenue Distribution
