11. Now here is some sand. Procedure: 1.Dry off your piece of aluminum foil with paper towels and sprinkle a small amount of sand on your foil. 2.Work with the sand and ice cubes by pressing the ice cubes down on the sand to try to see how glaciers pick up and transport materials from one location to another. 3.Discard your ice cubes and wipe the sand off your aluminum foil so the foil can be reused in the exploration. 4.Discuss results with your partner. What happened to the sand when the ice on top of it was moved? Is this similar to what happened to the sand in your river tables?
