Inquiry, Evaluate, ClarifyEvidence, Curiosity The Socratic Seminar open with a question ◦ Questions can come from the leader ◦ Questions can come from the participants There is no right answer to the question A good question leads participants back to the text The question encourages students to evaluate, define and clarify using the text The Inquiry that happens in a seminar is not pre-planned but evolves during the seminar
