5 5 October 2014, awarded $12.4 million in grants 28 awards to local governments, schools and businesses (Includes Northumberland County CEI project) Funded by Energy Development Fund, Growing Greener, Duquesne Light Alternative Energy and Clean Energy projects Solar Energy, Hydropower, Biomass, Combined Heat and Power, Energy Storage, Energy Efficiency, etc. 2014 PEDA Grant Round

7 5 Clean Alternative Energy Projects – $2,427,366 – 1 Research - $500,000 - Battery systems – 4 Manufacturing - $1,927,366- Windows, Fuel Cells, Solar/Battery Storage, Solar Racking 3 Advanced Energy, Duquesne Light – $259,694.91 – 1 Solar Project – $28,800 – 1 Energy Efficiency Project – $174,665 – 1 Solar/Wind – $75,000 Total Award = $278,465 2014 PEDA Awards (cont.) 7

8 8 18 projects have fully negotiated grant agreements and have begun work 1 (of the 18)projects has been completed – Dairy Farmers of America 8 projects are in final agreement phase and permit acquisition prior to a grant agreement being executed.
