Footfall for Free Range is 100,000+ (4,500 on interiors opening night alone) A marketing strategy conducted by a professional body distributes in excess of 200,000 catalogues, flyers, posters, e-flyers to both industry and the public. Press releases get cascaded to both industry and the public realm and outreach to industries including fashion, design, graphics, advertising, interiors, photography, film and art. Free Range is a hub for industry to seek out creative talent and as a result is a magnet for employers, agents etc.. Over 3,000 exhibiting students show every year making Free Range the largest of UK’s graduate shows Dedicated website space for exhibiting graduates

Interior Educator s(IE) members are coming together in force for the seventh time to create a specific showcase from the best Interior Architecture and Design courses in the United Kingdom. These combined forces of IE are creating outreach to promote job opportunities. 2015 will see 38 institutes and in excess of 500 students exhibiting Leeds Beckett University as part of this organisation has access to; Outreach including IE invitations (10000+) Press Launches Practice contacts provided by Interior Educators Exclusive online marketing (blueprint, bespke careers etc.) Exclusive launch and closing ceremony and Award scheme

Due to Leeds Beckett University being part of this establishment it allows us to extend the universities footprint in a variety of ways. 10 best IAD students from Leeds Beckett University will have the opportunity to showcase their degree work at IEFR – Re-work; provide employment opportunities for students after graduating. In the previous four years students have been offered both job opportunities and work experience and have been subject to ‘on the spot’ interviews at the exhibition. A range of practitioners and design agencies follow Free Range, and are in attendance annually. Leeds Beckett funding; Exhibition Space £1800.00 Staff support.(Travel accommodation etc)£2000.00 Student exhibitors must finance with £120.00 contribution (estimates based on last year’s costs) Printing brochure and stand identity (should be possible to do some in house) £100.00 Parking £100.00 Petrol£200.00 Van hire (two vans booked through university)£400.00 Consumables £100.00 Stand materials £300.00 It is suggested that students set up a bank account and elect treasurer to withdraw funds. Any monies left over to be returned after event. Addition personal students’ costs to consider Travel Accommodation Subsitence What will it cost ……

Priya and Will have agreed to start process but need to allocate roles; Bankers Graphics (brochure and stand) Stand design and coordination Van Drivers Packers Exhibition Curation To commit and to be considered interested parties are required to submit with the banker their £120 deposit. Any students that do not get selected to exhibit will get a full refund in June. Selected students will go forward to exhibit. Selected students will be expected to be in Leeds from Late June to Early July to design, produce, mock up and test exhibition, pack and load van etc. prior to the show. You will be required to fully Commit to the whole operation. As a team you will be required to submit an agreed plan of works for the show. Everyone will be expected to erect and dismantle the show. Programme: w/c June 8 th – Preliminary Design Proposals w/c June 15 th – Initial Testing of exhibition, Design for Graphic publication to accompany the show w/c June 22 nd – Full Mock up of exhibition w/c June 29 th – Production of Graphic publication, Vinyl production for exhibition and packing of exhibition and exhibits 6 th July – locate exhibits to Grd Fl BPA 7 th July – load van/s depart for London 8 th July – 8am Erect exhibition 9 th July – Complete exhibition by 3pm, 5pm Leeds Beckett IAD Exclusive Preview – Alumni and Employers, 6pm Public launch 10 th – 13 th July – Public show 13 th July – 2pm-6pm Judging, 7pm Pecha Kucha, 8.30pm Awards, 9pm CLOSE 14 th July – 8am dismantle exhibition and load van depart for Leeds 15 th July – Unload Van and Leeds Beckett. 16 th July – Sleep!!
