2. This year in science we have learned about mineral identification, the rock and carbon cycles, minerals, chemicals, and much more. My favorite part of science are the hand on experiments that we do in class. Some of them that I liked the most are the shampoos lab and the GLOOP investigation. I like these because I enjoy being active instead of reading information out of a book. My least favorite part of science has been learning about the ocean floor because that topic does not interest me like some of the other stuff we have learned.

3. I would give my self a 5 on my ability to complete my work for class because I always have my homework finish and never have to take a late grade for the assignment. I make sure to spend my time wisely at home and at school.

4. I would give myself a 4.5 on my class effort and contributions because although I don’t contribute as much as I can in class discussions, I still put a lot of effort into my work. One thing I wish I contributed more in were the 60 second sciences because I rarely raise my hand to give my say on the podcast.

5. I would give myself a 4 for my ability to work with others because I prefer to work independently on my assignments and when I am put in a group I feel the need to do all the work.

6. I think I need to improve mostly on working with a partner or team because as I said before I feel the need to do all the work and find it hard to rely on my classmates to get the project done if it is their responsibility. I also need to work on figuring out problems before I ask for help.

7. I think this year in science overall went well. I think I had good grades consistently and the topics and lessons we learned interested me. I tried my best on tests, projects, and assignments throughout the year. I feel very proud of my efforts this year in science.
