By Oct. 2015, deliverables to be submitted are: D3, D11, D13.3, D20 Quality Management Report Final Meeting Rome – 21/22 October 2015 Moreover we took into consideration: D5, D9, D10 and a cluster on Communication.

Introduction 1 Same as in the QMR2, two types of deliverables were considered: single reports and cluster of reports, documents and/or actions. Single reports include the following deliverables: Learning materials and infrastructure adaptation plan (D5) (Task 2.3) Evaluation questionnaire for training actions (D9) (task 4.1), Training sessions and workshops (D10) (task 4.1) Training framework second release (D11) (task 4.2) LINKVIT Business Plan (D20) (task T6.4) Training framework second release includes some considerations on the “Master for Inspire” proposal. LINKVIT Business Plan includes documents on “Market Analysis”, “Business Model” and “Memorandum of Understanding”. Quality Management Report Final Meeting Rome – 21/22 October 2015

Introduction 2 Cluster report refers to communication devices, media and actions, and includes the following deliverables: 1.LINKVIT Web site (D15) (task 6.2) 2.Dissemination material an events, which join together the following: - Dissemination material (D16) (task 6.2) - Awareness and dissemination events (D18) (task 6.3) 3.Project Newsletters (D17) (task 6.2) In this cluster, the Iuav Journal is also considered as well as the workshops held at the Inspire-Geospatial World Forum in Lisbon (26-29 May, 2015) and at GI_Forum Symposium in Salzburg (24-26 June, 2015). The External Expert Evaluation Report n.3 must be considered as an integral part of this QMR3 Quality Management Report Final Meeting Rome – 21/22 October 2015

Learning materials and infrastructure adaptation plan (D5) (Task 2.3) Quality Management Report Following some SC suggestions reported in QMR2 a deeper analysis was activated for “The search for a common language … by the compilation of a dictionary open to the input of project partners and their networks. The dictionary would strengthen the ontological domains in which Inspire operates”. A Glossary has been prepared by Novogit AB, considering the use of the SKOS standard. However it is considered too complicated for a full implementation within the LINKVIT project. In addition, since the project refers mainly to the INSPIRE glossary, which it seems not yet available as a triple-store, this kind implementation has to wait from other initiative this kind of effort (http://www.gi-n2k.eu/and http://gin2k.bigknowledge.net/bokwiki/). Final Meeting Rome – 21/22 October 2015

Evaluation questionnaire for training actions (D9) Quality Management Report Three Training Actions have been organized by the partners in which the evaluation questionnaire was distributed: 1.KU LEUVEN – Around 20 students involved from the “Spatial Data Infrastructure “ course. A detailed report mailed to the partners (19 July 2015) illustrates the results of evaluation. 2.PLUS – 50 UNIGIS MSc students were invited to test the LINKVIT self-learning modules. Only two students registered to the Moodle platform by marking the “UNIGIS Salzburg” in the "Training Action registration" field. The evaluation test was reported to the partners (9 Sept 2015). 3.IUAV – around 50 students from a Laboratory on Urban Planning were invited to test the LINKVIT self-learning modules. Unfortunately this group of students were not so skilled on GIS Technologies (all of them were participating to the first year courses) so the response was very poor and was not reported at all. Suggestion - Better definition of target groups, in terms of interests and skills, would be desirable. Final Meeting Rome – 21/22 October 2015

Training sessions and workshops (D10) Quality Management Report Two International Conferences hosted LINKVIT workshops in the last months: INSPIRE-Geospatial World Forum held in Lisbon (25-29 May, 2015) and GI-Forum Symposium in Salzburg (8 July, 2015). At the moment no links to papers and proceedings are available on the LINKVIT web site. The two workshops enabled the presentation of the LINKVIT project at the International Geographical Information/ INSPIRE Community. Most attendants expressed their appreciation in the project and their interest in participating the training actions. A report (Deliverable D18) of the LINKVIT Workshop at GI_Forum Symposium in Salzburg, was distributed by PLUS among the partners in the middle of August. It includes a Quality Evaluation based on a specific questionnaire distributed at the end of the workshop. Final Meeting Rome – 21/22 October 2015

Training framework second release (D11) Quality Management Report A deep action of revising has been performed along this last months in order to avoid duplication, cross link modules, align the meta- data, perform a better design of slides and guarantee the best quality of lectures presentation. This revising process is almost completed. An evaluation of the revising results is going to be realized in the next days. First proposal of a European Master to support INSPIRE Training, has been published as an article on the IUAV Journal (Domenico Patassini and Vincenzo Giannotti). Later this first proposal has been integrated with a contribution by Danny Vandenbroucke. Next steps: survey on potential partnerships in Europe; evaluation of how to activate the master (Erasmus Mundus? See Iuav Master on “Maritime Spatial Planning”) Final Meeting Rome – 21/22 October 2015

LINKVIT web site (D15) There were no substantial changes to the website from the latest version commented in the QMR2. However all Partners have agreed that any restyling is conditioned by the resources put in place by the Partners themselves, after the end of the project (see Business Plan). Otherwise, some good improvements are achieved in the e- learning platform as highlighted by Roderic Molina in his last e- mail (19 Oct 2015): glossary on line, all modules downloadable in pdf, contact session.
