SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATIONS STATISTICS – Science and Technology Statistics Current situation Until 2011 the survey of scientific research and developing organizations was conducted - NIRO In the process of Science Statistics harmonization this survey was revised/harmonized in 2011 and pilot project has been conducted with data for 2010 It is prepared in accordance with EU Science Statistics regulative (Commission decree (EC) no. 753/2004) and with methodological handbook Frascati From 2012 this statistics survey is conducted on regular basis (data collected for 2011) Ministry of Science of Montenegro has participated in preparations Reporting units: Research and Development Institutions licensed by Ministry of Science as well as other which invested in researches and development (65 reporting units) STATISTICS Chapter 18: M O N T E N E G R O Negotiating Team for Accession of Montenegro to the European Union Chapter 18: Statistics

UIS questionnaire (Questionnaire on Research and Development (R&D) Statistics 2012 – Montenegro, with data for 2011, - in April 2013 submitted to UNESCO institute. SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATIONS STATISTICS – Innovations statistics Current situation MONSTAT is not conducting innovation survey Ministry of Science supported the project: National innovation capacity research as the factor for establishment of Economy and Society of Montenegro based on knowledge and compatibility with EU innovation system, which represents a good introduction and development preparation for innovation Statistics. Project carrier is one of Universities in Montenegro, and project lasts till 2015. Within this project, during 2012 randomly surveying companies in accordance with CIS methodology was done – By EU Science, Researches and Innovation Statistics Regulative no. 995/2012. Monstat will use the experience from this survey for preparation of conducting and harmonization of this survey in the future.
