12 CHEVROLET BRAND INFO  Established in 1911, Chevrolet is preparing to celebrate its centennial with the launch of the ground-breaking Chevrolet Volt extended-range electric vehicle  Chevrolet is General Motors' leading global brand, with annual sales of 3.5 million vehicles in more than 130 countries.  Chevy offers more models that get 30 MPG or better than either Toyota or Honda  Chevy has more Consumers Digest Best Buys for the 2010 & 2011 model years than any other automaker: Equinox, Malibu, Traverse, Silverado, Tahoe, Camaro, and Corvette all won this highly coveted award for the 2010 & 2011 model years. A special Corvette Centennial Edition is being will be introduced later this year.

13 CHEVROLET INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION  After 100 years, Chevrolet continues to be one of the most recognized, fastest growing and most broad-reaching brands in the world. All-time volume and market share records were achieved in Italy, Germany, France, the U.K., Turkey, Austria and Portugal. The best- ever market share was achieved in Spain, Poland and South East Europe Last year Chevrolet more than doubled sales in France (+132.4 percent) and increased sales in Germany by 40 percent. In volume terms, Chevrolet's biggest international markets for 2009 were Russia, Italy, Germany, France and Spain. (Chevrolet is Russia's number one non-domestic brand) Chevrolet increased sales in China by 67 percent to 332,774 cars. China now has more than 800,000 Chevrolet owners, nearly one- third of whom bought their cars in 2009.

14 CHEVROLET HISTORICAL MILESTONES  Chevrolet was co-founded by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant.  On November 3, 1911, Chevrolet was incorporated and entered the automobile market  Chevrolet first used its "bowtie" logo in 1913. This logo is said to have been designed from wallpaper Durant once saw in a French hotel.  In 1917, Durant was president of General Motors, and Chevrolet was merged into GM, becoming a separate division.  First Chevrolet Truck was introduced in 1918.  Chevy introduces its first 6-cylinder engine in 1929  Chevrolet introduces the Suburban in 1935,with seating capacity for eight, it was the world’s first SUV  In 1942 Chevy becomes one of the most important single suppliers of the WW II effort.  In 1950, Chevrolet introduces the Powerglide transmission, becoming the first value-priced competitor to offer automatic shifting.

15  In 1953, the world famous Corvette was introduced  In the 1955 model year Chevrolet introduced the most famous and versatile V8 engine ever produced, the “Small Block V8”.  In 1958 the first large and luxurious Impala was introduced.  In 1963, one out of every ten cars sold in the United States was a Chevrolet.  In 1967, the legendary Camaro was introduced  100-millionth Chevrolet was introduced in 1979, a Chevy Monza  In 1991 Chevy puts standard anti-lock brakes on more 1992 models than any other manufacturer.  In 2008 the ZR1 is introduced.
