Surface Features Saturn is 292 Degrees Fahrenheit Color: Butterscotch Saturn doesn’t have a surface so astronauts cant go in it, the only part they can go on is the large chunks that makes up the planets rings The surface of Saturn is not solid, but it has several layers of gases and liquid metallic compounds.

Comparison Earth Saturn 70 percent of the Earth is covered by water. 30 percent is covered by land. The Earth is 93 million miles from the Sun on average. The astrological name for Earth is “Terra.” The Earth is about 4.5 billion years old. Saturn has over 30 known Satellites, but many of them are small. The temperature difference between the poles and the equator is very small on Saturn. They named Saturn after the Roman God of agriculture.
