Climate: The winters are pleasant with warm days and cool nights Temperatures during the day range between mid 20’ies (in winter) to mid 30’ies (in summer) In the desert, the days are hotter and the nights cooler than the rest of the country. The first rains of the summer arrive beginning/mid November.

6. High season (July - October): Dry period, so animals move towards water sources and therefore easier to see. SEASONALITY The early mountain rains in Angola take about 3 months to reach the Okavango Delta by mid year, then creating an oasis in the arid desert that slowly soaks away, never reaches the sea! Game migrates hundreds of kilometres from as far as Zimbabwe to partake in nature’s miracle, to enjoy the plentiful bounty of the season.
