Step 2 – Register a Card To register a UR Card, you can send an email to info@urcard.co.za or fill out the registration form at one of our awesome Vendors:info@urcard.co.za Full Name Contact Number Email Address UR Card Number Address PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR PASSPORT OR IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENT WITH THE APPLICATION.

These details are incredibly important as they ensure that the URCard is FICA verified. This means that if anything happens to their UR Card FICA can verify you as the card holder and a replacement card can be issued. Please not that your UR Card will only be officially activated once your first deposit has been made onto your UR Card.

Loading money onto UR Card How do I load money onto a UR Card? A deposit can be made into your customer’s UR Card through the following means: They can EFT funds from another South African bank account into their UR Card account. They can do card to card transfers They can load their card via cash deposits at any Standard Bank Is the card linked to my other accounts? No your account with UR Card is independent from any other bank accounts you may have. This means that if your other accounts are frozen you can still have access to your funds through UR Card.

Is the money safe? Yes. The money is held at Standard Bank and is not accessible by anyone else besides the card holder. All transaction records are available and it will be easy for you or your customers to determine if there was fraudulent or unauthorized activity on the card. In the case of fraudulent activity, a normal legal process will be followed. Replacement of cards if lost or stolen In the event of a lost card, simply contact us on our 24 hour emergency help line: 074 184 9227 and report that the card is missing. We will then block the card and a new card will be issued to the customer once they provide us with a copy of their passport or ID. The existing value of the stolen or lost card will then be transferred to the new card. The registration process Every UR Card is registered with its own unique 16 Digit card number. This number is used to identify each card and is used as a reference in case of loss or replacement.

Who do I call if I have a query? Please contact our Customer Services on 0861 114 093 where you will receive automated assistance with any issues you may be experiencing. Where can I use the card? You can make a withdrawal at any ATM, withdrawals made at Standard Bank are charged at a standard rate of R8,90 and R14.90 at all other major banks. You can also use your UR Card to purchase goods or services at any retailer displaying the MasterCard logo. Is there a minimum contract period? No, there is no mandatory minimum contract period. What are some of the benefits of using UR Card? There are no credit checks There are no transaction fees when paying in-store Lower cash withdrawal fees are charged with Standard Bank It is easy to use It is easy to load with funds It is safer than carrying around cash It gives you the convenience and accessibility of a MasterCard How do I use my UR Card? Your card will need to be activated before funds can be deposited into it, after which you can use it at any ATM or at any in-store device that accepts MasterCard. Simply insert or swipe your card, type in your PIN and sign a sales slip if required.

Will my credit record be checked at time of card activation? There is no credit check required for the UR Card at time of activation or thereafter. We do need to do FICA verification and verify your identity or passport number before activating the card. This is done automatically and immediately. What FICA checks are done on my identity number? The FICA Act 38 of 2001 requires that we check your identity number and name against a Fraud and Home Affairs database. Are there any transaction restrictions once my card is activated? Once your card is activated, you will have a daily limit on transactions of R 4000 for cash withdrawals and a monthly limit of R 25 000. You may also load more funds onto the card for later use if required. For security reasons there will only be a maximum of R10.000 on a UR Card at any given time. How can I load money onto my UR Card? You can deposit money into your UR Card at any branch of Standard Bank, simply deposit cash into your UR Card using the following details : Bank Name: Standard Bank Your specific account number Branch Code: 019205 Can I load money through internet transfer? Yes, you can all you need is the following information: Account name: PAYDNA UR Card Bank Name: Standard Bank Your specific account number Branch code: 019205

Can I use my UR Card on the internet? No, UR Card cannot be used for online transactions Will I get a statement on my UR Card? You can view your statement by logging onto our website: www.urcard.co.za and selecting “balance and history” www.urcard.co.za Can I link other people to my UR Card? Yes, you can do so via your account on the UR Card website www.urcard.co.za www.urcard.co.za Can I pay people from my UR Card? Yes. This can be done via the UR Card network via a Card to Card transfer. What can I do if there are transactions on my card that I did not make? Please contact our Customer Services on 074 184 9227 so that we can assist you in the process of reporting fraudulent activity. What happens when my card expires and I still have money on the card? Please contact UR Card so that a new card can be issued and the relevant funds transferred to the new card. A new card can only be issued once you provide a copy of your passport or identity document.
