The American Diploma is an American education system according to the American standards for the secondary schools (High schools) and prepares the student for the university. 4 years of High school (Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12). Every year:2 semesters. Every semester: 2 Exams (Mid - semester exam and End of semesters exam).

The student will get an:
The system is based on credit hours. The student must pass the school Internal Exams to be promoted to the next grade. At the end of grade 12, The student will get an: (American High School Diploma Certificate)

Colleges and universities in the United States and in most other countries require: American Diploma Certificate. Admission test of colleges and universities (SAT). The most famous international admission test of colleges and universities is SAT. The SAT test is recognized by most colleges and universities at the undergraduate level.

There are two types of SAT. SAT Reasoning test (SAT 1).

The SAT (Reasoning test/ Subject test) is on the (first Saturday of the months of October, November, December, May and June and last Saturday of January). There are 6000 test Centers spread across 170 Countries Worldwide.

(For girls only) Kingdom Schools (For boys and Girls) Test day of (SAT 1, SAT 2) on the same day and at the same time, That means in each trial of the exams the students could make one test only SAT 1 or SAT 2. To register for SAT (Reasoning test or subject test) online, go to the college Board's web site- and follow simple directions. SAT reasoning test (SAT 1) is a measure of critical thinking skills, SAT 1 assesses How well a student analyzes and solves the problems. The total score of SAT reasoning test is 2400 (800 for reading, 800 for mathematics, 800 for writing). SAT reasoning test: is one of the important requirements for colleges and universities (For the student of A.D).

The subjects are as follows:
SAT subject test (SAT 2). Each SAT subject test is an hour-long exam designed to test the knowledge of the student of one specific course that the student studied in High school. The subjects are as follows: Literature, World History, United states History, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physic. Foreign Language are: French, German, Italian, Latin, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean

Some of colleges and universities consider SAT subject test as a part of the admission process and some colleges and universities consider it optional. In general most colleges and universities of Medicine and Engineering consider (SAT subject tests) as one of the main requirements. Colleges and universities which consider SAT 2 as a part of the admission process require two or three subjects. Note that: Universities in Jordon require seven subjects of SAT2 only. The score of each subject is 800. Choices of subjects depend on requirements of every university.

40% of the school score (GPA).
Most colleges and universities calculate the total score of the student as follows: 40% of the school score (GPA). 60% of best score of SAT reasoning test (SAT 1). 15% of best score of SAT subject tests (SAT 2).
