2. SAT Fee Waivers The SAT Program fee-waiver service is available for High School Students. Fee Waivers are granted to 11 th and 12 th grade students who are applying to colleges that require scores from standardized tests for admission. Eligible students can have a total of 4 waivers between 11 th and 12 th grade. 2 for the SAT Reasoning Test 2 for the SAT Subject Tests One fee waiver can cover as many as 3 SAT Subject Tests on one test day.

SAT Fee Waiver Continued… With the fee waiver, you will have up to 4 flexible score reports, which can be ordered at registration or after the student has received his or her scores or for a previously taken SAT Reasoning or Subject Test. Fee waiver covers the Question-and Answer Service (QAS) or the Student Answer Service (SAS) without charge if ordered at the time of registration. QAS allows students to see how they did on specific test questions. SAS allows them to verify their SAT scores.

SAT Fee Waiver Continued… Eligible students also can receive up to 4 Requests for Waiver of College Application Fee at colleges that participate in the Colleges Cooperating with the SAT Program Fee-Waiver. 5. SAT Fee Waiver Continued… Eligible students are also entitled to a $40 discount on the Official SAT Online Course when ordered during an online registration.

6. Who is Eligible for SAT Waivers Students enrolled in a free or reduced-price lunch program. Students who are enrolled in an Upward Bound or a Trio program.

Important Registration Notes SAT Fee Waivers can be used for online registration and registrations by mail Fee Waivers may not be used for standby registration Lat registration with a fee waiver is allowed for the October administration only Fee waiver card may not be reproduced or changed in any manner Students registering by mail must enclose both the Registration Form and the fee-waiver card. 10. 2009-2010 SAT Testing Dates

11. ACT Fee Waivers During 2008–2009, ACT will again make fee waivers for the ACT test available to economically disadvantaged high school juniors or seniors.

12. ACT Fee Waiver Continued… Eligible students may use a maximum of 2 fee waivers between 11 th and 12 th grade. The fee waiver will cover basic registration fee for either the ACT (No Writing) or the ACT Plus Writing. Fee waiver covers one report to the high school and up to four college choices

13. ACT Fee Waiver Guidelines Waiver will not cover the following Late registration fee Additional college choices (after the 4 that are included with the standard registration) Other services or products Test date, test option, or test center change fee Standby testing fee

Who is Eligible for ACT Waivers Student’s family received public assistance Student is a ward of the state Student that lives in a foster home Student that participates in the free or reduced-price lunch program at school Student who participates in a federally funded TRIO program such as Upward Bound

Important Registration Notes If registering on the Web the student must enter the serial number on the payment screen and then follow the directions on the screen to apply the waiver to validate it. Finally the student must click Submit to complete the registration If registering by mail the student must enter the serial number of the waiver in Block W and enclose the waiver with the completed form.
