Specific HR Skills they can market to each HR position. Will be involved in HR organizations such as the Society for Human Resource Professionals and an HR certification such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources(SPHR), or a Global Professional certification in Human Resources (GPHR). c. Core Competency Interpersonal (people)skills are is the number one skill that needs to be fine tuned. These skills are necessary in dealings with people as well as networking. It is very import to network with executives and even the employees that I would be assisting in an HR position.

Positioning Statement Recent graduate with professional experience with the ability to work on a team or independently and has the ability to adapt to changing work environments with organizational understanding. Management Experience, Recent knowledge of human resource policies and procedures and culturally adaptable. Personable, Professional, Honest and Straight to the point with a go getting active personality.

Marketing Mix – Andrea's Personal Marketing Plan Promotion Applications for positions will be submitted to desired to positions. LinkedIn is becoming a more relevant tool in networking. Keeping my network open and updated with a resume, Curriculum Vitae. promotional techniques The E-Portfolio-I will be adding not just homework and assignments from previous Kaplan courses, but scanning in my additional certificates, accreditations' and membership organization certificates as it relates to Human Resources. Curriculum Vitae- International Positions at times require a CV. Personalized Cover Letters- A cover letter tailored to each position applied outlining skills and abilities. Business Cards – I have some and they are great to have at networking events. Social Media Outreach- LinkedIn to distribute the above four items electronically.

Next Steps in Next Quarter Register with the Society for Human Resources Extend membership with Alpha Kappa Psi Research GPHR, PHR Certification Next Steps in Next 6 Months Update and Scan all current awards into E Portfolio Seek Human Resource Assistant positions Next Steps in 1 Year Gain an exempt position with authority in Human Resources Begin Studying for an HR Certification Next Steps in 5 Years Seek International position with target companies Present Education and Experience in the industry.
