A Lt. Governor is Member of the Florida District of Key Club Board of Trustees.

A Lt. Governor is Main communication and support link between the Florida District of Key Club International and the club.

Florida District of Key Club Bylaws Article V. Section 6 (b) The Key Club Lt. Governor shall assist the District Governor in the work of the District in their respective Divisions. Each Lt. Governor shall follow the terms of their service agreement. Lt. Governor

Service Agreement 1.Attend Division Council Meetings from date of election until District Education and Leadership Conference 2016. 2.Assist the present Lt. Governor in all duties up to and including those assigned during the District Education and Leadership Conference in 2016.

Service Agreement 3.Attend required meetings and events: o Spring Regional Lt. Governor Training o District Education and Leadership Conference in Orlando, April 28-May 1, 2016 o District Leadership Training Conference (LTC), June 10-12, 2016 o August Board Meeting, August 12-14, 2016 o January Board Meeting, January 6-8, 2017

Service Agreement 4. If possible, attend Key Club International Convention in Atlanta, GA, July 4-12, 2016. 5.Attend all training sessions at District Education and Leadership Conference and Key Club International Convention. 6. Complete the online monthly LTG report by the 15 th of each month, including summer months.

Service Agreement 7.Publish and distribute a monthly publication (minimum 6 newsletters and rest informational emails) by the seventh of each month. Distribute to: all club officers in the Division all club advisors Key Club District Board (where requested) Kiwanis Lt. Governor Key Club International Trustee your Zone Administrator District Administrator

Service Agreement 8. Plan and conduct at least 6 DCM’s *one in May-June *one before school the first week of the school term *one in September-October *one in November-December *one in January-February *one in March-April (prior to DCON) DCM times and locations must be announced at least 2 weeks in advance.

Service Agreement 9. Check emails and respond as appropriate every two days. 10. Plan and conduct a fall rally (Key Club Kickoff Conference) prior to mid October. 11. Assist with planning, organizing, and managing a Spring Regional Rally (SZR) to take place January, February, or March.

Service Agreement 12. Assist in promoting the election of a successor Lt. Governor and in training the person elected prior to the 2017 District Education and Leadership Conference. 13. Communicate and seek counsel from your Zone Administrator as agreed upon. 14. Follow the District Code of Conduct at all Key Club Functions.

Maintain content on personal and district social networking sites appropriate to your position as a Key Club District Leader and allow access by the Kiwanis Key Club Committee members. 16. Review and complete the criteria located in the Key Club Guidebook for Distinguished Lt. Governor and submit application.

Lt. Governor Duties Be the voice of the members and clubs you represent. Assess member and recruitment activities. Pursue club building opportunities. Actively support all district committees.

Lt. Governor Duties Maintain Operating Budget and oversee disbursement of all funds. Work on dues collection. Keep yourself well educated about international and district programs.
