The Collaborative O-Buoy Project: Deployment of a Network of Arctic Ocean Chemical Sensors for the IPY and beyond Patricia Matrai, Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences Jan Bottenheim, Environment Canada Udo Frieß, U. Alaska Fairbanks Aim: To develop an Arctic Ocean-rugged and autonomous buoy capable of measuring atmospheric O 3, BrO, and CO 2 for a period of up to two years to ensure a full year cycle of high quality data.
