2. HAZEL BISHOP Hazel Bishop was born August 17, 1906 in Hoboken, New Jersey. She attended Banard College in New York. She graduated with a degree in Chemistry. She later worked as a organic chemist for Standard Oil Development Company, Designing fuels for air planes during World War 2. Hazel came up with her own business. Her idea was of a Smudge proof, long lasting lipstick. She expirimented with Staining dyes, oils, and molten wax. That was the perfect mixture. With that she has her own company Hazel Bishop inc. She died on December 5,1998 in Rye, New York at the age 92.
