2. DOB Accela Inspections For cancellations. Submit in IR up to two days before the inspection. Within two days of inspection, email R. DeVito and R. Daly Must resubmit for another inspection

3. DOB Accela Inspections Of the first 150 “certifications” submitted, over 100 were actually for an inspection. They were rejected. About 60 requests for a certification were submitted for an inspections. We performed inspections for 275 gallon tank replacements. Getting better and much fewer now.

4. DOB Accela Inspections Inspector submits report to office Supervisors review report in 2 bus. days Report is then posted online With certifiable defects, inspection “fails final” Submit certifications, then submit IR request Follow up with email to supervisor for admin signoff or new inspection is scheduled

5. DOB Accela Inspections For inspections with just minor defects such as paperwork, self-closing door, no insulation, exposed wiring, etc. the contractor may upload pictures and documents into Accela. Submit an inspection request and then email the boiler supervisor to review and hopefully sign off the job. If the supv rejects the certifications, you must submit another IR inspection request.

7. DOB Accela Inspections 1.Boiler supervisors review and approve inspection reports. 2.Boiler Admin unit signs off the work types and oil LAA’s in BIS. 3.Boiler Admin prepares duplicate boiler cards and 16A forms issued prior to 12/7/2015.

8. DOB Accela Certifications For just FS permits or LAA’s 1-5 family, submit a “certification” in IR. Upload a copy of the permit, self cert letter, and drawings if applicable. For large jobs, we will advise you to come to the office with drawings. For placement of a mobile boiler, drawings are not required, but copy of electrical permit and ABI for current year or past year is reqd. wmcgivney@buidlings.nyc.gov reviews these. wmcgivney@buidlings.nyc.gov

9. DOB Accela Inspections 1.For jobs that passed after 12/7/2015, many 16A forms or boiler cards are not visible in BIS. Email me. We expect to produce online forms for them in the future. No 16A was issued for just FS without a boiler. Working on it. 2.LAA sign offs were heavily backlogged. Working on it.
