2 NPSTC is a federation of organizations whose mission is to improve public safety communications and interoperability through collaborative leadership. 2 National Regional Planning Council National Regional Planning Council “ UPDATE REPORT” NRPC Mission Statement “The National Regional Planning Council (NRPC) is a national community of fifty five Regional Planning Committees (RPCs), whose affiliation is linked to states and US Territories. Their mission is to serve all Public Safety Communications Users through spectrum planning and management services for their spectrum needs.”  NRPC promotes spectrum issues to assist Regional Planning Committees.  NRPC provides support to enable effective use and management of RPC spectrum resources.  NRPC provides education, training, and facilitation for RPCs to develop and adopt their plans, and operate their plans effectively.  NRPC supports forums for RPCs to share information and collaborate, and allocate resources to support RPC business.  NRPC researches and provides information critical to RPC collaboration and success.  NRPC receives and acts on input from RPCs to perform the will of the RPCs individually and nationally.  NRPC establishes affiliations with elected and appointed officials to promote RPC representation on issues that benefit public safety interests.  NRPC educates elected and appointed officials and requests resources needed to support RPC interests.

We are able to provide funding support for both 700 and 800. We are planning joint Training Workshops for 700 and 800 Next training will be “CAPRAD Training” 11/27/2008 to 11/29/2008 in North Carolina We have three active committees; Training, CAPRAD and Technical/writing, which are tracking FCC publications for purpose of timely responses if necessary. We look forward to working with all organizations and appreciate the support that we have received from everyone. We hold Monthly Conference Calls for all Regional Planning Committees.
