REQUIREMENTS TO WORK IN THE UK Tier 5 – Youth Mobility Scheme (YMS) You need to accrue 50 points: 30 points for your home country (Australia) 10 points being between 18-30 10 for having £1600 in the bank Rules of the YMS You can stay in the UK for up to 24 months You can work for the full 24 months You have to leave once the visa expires or if you wish to apply for another type of visa £125 approx Ancestry Visa Allows citizens from Commonwealth countries to work & settle in the UK if they have British-born grandparents Free to enter the UK & work without restrictions British Passport EU Passport
