2. Starter  Think about the characteristics of the CBD (think of Glasgow).  What type of things would you expect to see on a map of Glasgow’s CBD?  Discuss with the person next to you and write down your answers. (4 minutes)

5. Task 1: Map characteristics  Look at the land out you have been given of different land use zones from a map of Glasgow.  Annotate around the maps with all of the information that you can come up with.
