Multimedia Project Formats
Web Sites Versatile multimedia tool Can host other multimedia projects Can overlap other multimedia project formats Can be design as a tutorial application or as a video game Can include links simulations or tutorials Multimedia only benefits a Web site when it helps meet its purpose and goals.
16
Choosing Multimedia Project Formats Questions
Consider these questions when deciding your project’s format and delivery method What information do you want to convey? How do you want users to interact with the project? Will they answer questions, as in a tutorial? Will the users control the outcome as in a simulation or game? What multimedia elements do you plan to include in your project? What information you want to convey? A slide show presentation might be a good option for sharing knowledge, while a tutorial or game might be better to teach a skill. 3. If you are including video and audio, consider whether all Web sites can handle the size of the files or if a DVD would be a better delivery method.
