Modified Delphi Technique o Set to obtain the most reliable consensus of opinion among a group of experts o Characteristics Iteration Controlled feedback Statistical aggregation o Desired outcome Predict what a well coordinated audit may look like in approximately 5 to 10 years o Participants A total of 8 participants

Rutgers Business School Process Brainstorming session o Two smaller groups o Each group has identical questions & individuals in a group have different questions i.e. Audit process (ways to change the way we audit e.g. create automatic confirmations through database to database) o Questions are passed around and thoughts expanded from the prior o Group ranks questions/ideas o Discuss

Rutgers Business School Process (2) Questionnaire session o Two rounds o First round is unstructured o Participant to rank 12 questions, each currently and in 10 years from now o Results are tabulated and discussed by the group o Second round asks the same 12 questions and participants are free to change rankings based on group discussion o Results are tabulated with the intention of a smaller range of ranks Timely questions o Participants to suggest most important questions to discuss during next session

Rutgers Business School Results Mostly all ranges minimized The questions which experienced an increased range will be further investigated o Confusion among group in interpreting the question either before or after group discussion
