2 Description In this session, participants will learn about several resources for increasing student engagement in the classroom. Resources will range from visual supports for behavior to low tech sensory strategies that help increase student engagement. After all, if the student isn't engaged, then learning will not occur.

3 Learner Outcomes Participants will: understand how engagement leads to learning. be able to name different low tech strategies for increasing engagement. be able to problem solve different types of disengagement issues and match possible intervention ideas to the lack of engagement.

Making adjustments to your curriculum for individual student’s needs. D. Designing the school so it can be accessed by all kids (wheelchairs, walkers, etc)
