8 SOURCES OF FUNDING THE ACTIVITY OF URZĄD PRACY on 31 December 2011  OPERATING FUND: 2 690 800,00 zł;  EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND: 2 219 647,10 zł;  PFRON (: 115 000,00 zł;  PFRON ( National Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Fund) : 115 000,00 zł;  ANOTHER FUNDING SOURCES:125 315,00 zł;  IN TOTAL: 5 150 762,10 zł.

10 PROJECT NAME: „BACK TO WORK”. BUDGET: 1 448 900,00 zł. DURATION: 01.01.2011 r. to 31.12.2011 r. THE TARGET GROUP: people registered in Powiatowy Urząd Pracy as unemployed, at the age of 18-24, 50-64 and the disabled in particular. PARTICIPANTS: 146. THE WAYS OF SUPPORT: vocational training, internship/training,disposable funds for starting the business activity. 11 „BACK TO WORK” PROJECTS - THE OUTCOME:  144 of the unemployed in the project,  34 of the unemployed were trained,  63 of the unemployed practiced (max. 6 months period),  48 of the unemployed started the own business activity,  87 person have been employed or self-employed, including: 23 of the age between 18 and 24, 10 person of the age between 50-64. „BACK TO WORK” PROJECTS – THE OUTCOME

12 PROJECT NAME: „NEW JOB- IT PAYS!”. BUDGET 683 309,10 zł. DURATION: 01.07.2010 r. to 31.12.2011 r. THE TARGET GROUP: formerly employed and fired due to the economical reasons(made redundant). PARTICIPANTS: 70. THE WAYS OF SUPPORT: psychological support, career counselling, vocational training, funds for starting the business activity. „NEW JOB- IT PAYS!” -PROJECT

13 JOB TRAINING  Accountancy,  Security worker,  TIG (141) Welding,  Construction, axploitation and supervising of working devices, installation, and electrical nets with control and prevention measurements,  Loader-digger operator of class III,  AutoCAD 2D i 3D,  Florist,  Store worker, ,  fork-lift truck operator,  Website designer,  MAG (135) Welding,  Disabled person assisstant.

14 „NEW WORK- IT PAYS!” PROJECTS – THE OUTCOME:  in total 70 person were supported by the project,  70 person were helped by the psychologist and the job advisor,  27 person were individually and expertly trained,  18 person were instructed in setting up and carrying the business activity,  9 grants has been given for starting the business activity in the total amount of 300.000 PLN,  9 person were self-employed,  24 person succeeded with a new employment  24 person succeeded with a new employment. „NEW WORK- IT PAYS!” PROJECT!” – THE OUTCOME THE OUTCOME

15 PROJECT NAME: „TOGETHER IN EUROPE”. BUDGET: promotion of the volunteering idea. DURATION: since 2005. THE TARGET GROUP: the people enlisted in Poviet Labour Office in Police as unemployed. PARTICIPANTS: 700. THE WAYS OF SUPPORT: basing German and English languages training, the basic computer skills learning. „TOGETHER IN EUROPE„ - PROJECT

16 „RAZEM W EUROPIE" PROJECT - THE PRINCIPLES „RAZEM W EUROPIE” is the common project of Zespół Szkół im. I. Łukasiewicza and Powiatowy Urząd Pracy w Policach, supporting the rules and idea of volunteering among the Police's youth and at the same time giving unemployed the opportunity to gain new skills and improve their competitiveness at the labour market.

17 – „RAZEM W EUROPIE" PROJECT – THE OUTCOME THE OUTCOME In the project „RAZEM W EUROPIE" the young volunteers of Zespół Szkół im. I. Łukasiewicza are helping the unemployed to improve their professional qualifications by teaching them foreign languages and computer skills for free.

19 CAREER COUNSELLING:  individual counselling;  group counselling;  supporting employers in developing their employee’s skills. MOTIVATING TO LIFELONG LEARNING

20 KLUB PRACY:  The main purpose of Work Club is to help the unemployed to gain skills of effective job seeking. MOTIVATING TO LIFELONG LEARNING

21 DURING THE TRAINING IN WORK CLUB, PARTICIPANTS ARE:  learning the analysis of the labour market,  learning the available forms of education;  acquiring ways of assertive behaviour during job seeking;  analysing the obstacles they face searching for a job;  learning how to manage time WHILE job seeking;  setting up action plans. MOTIVATING TO LIFELONG LEARNING

22 VOCATIONAL TRAINING:  retraining,  improvment of professional skills,  learning effective ways of employment seeking and getting a job,  The aim is to increase the chances of unemployed to get a job and to keep a job for those at risk of losing one. THE FORMS OF LIFELONG LEARNING

23 VOCATIONAL TRAINING Urząd Pracy initiates, organizes and finances training of unemployed people to enhance their professional qualifications and other qualifications, increasing the chance to take up or maintain employment, other gainful work or economic activity, particularly in the case of:  lack of professional qualifications,  necessity of changing or completing professional skills,  loss of ability to perform work previously performed in the profession,  lack of active job search skills. 24 GROUP TRAINING: are carried out by powiatowy Urząd Pracy according to the plan of trainings. The plan of trainings is based on the research, analysis and forecasts for the labour market, frequency of the job offers appearing in PUP and the employers' demand. INDIVIDUAL TRAINING: Powiatowy Urząd Pracy may refer the unemployed to the training that he indicates when there is justification of the purpose of training in form of: THE FORMS OF LIFELONG LEARNING  the declaration of employment from the prospective employer  or the declaration of starting up a business from the unemployed

26 POSTGRADUATE STUDIES:  Powiatowy Urząd Pracy on the request of an unemployed can cover the cost of postgraduate studies up to 100 %, as long as it doesn’t exceed 300% of the average salary in Poland,  The unemployed to whom has been given the grant for postgraduate studies, has the right to the scholarship at the level of 20% of the unemployment benefit, mentioned in article 72 Act of 20th April on the employment promotion and labour market institution (ustawa z dnia 20 kwietnia 2004 r. o promocji zatrudnienia i instytucjach rynku pracy). 27 CONTINUATION OF EDUCATION: The unemployed of no professional qualifications, who has taken up further education within the period of 12 months after being registered in PUP, in the junior high school for adults (public school or unpublic with the public school status), in the high school, or in college if he studies as a part-time student, can get the scholarship in the amount of 100% of benefit value mentioned in art. 72 of Act on employment promotion and labor market institutions, for the period of 12 months since the beginning of the study.
