7 CP1 Overarching Policy on Sustainable Development  Sets out how development will contribute to the sustainability of the District  Introduces a carbon emission reduction target of at least 25% less carbon dioxide emissions than currently required by Building Regulations Part L (2006) with a minimum of 10% being provided by on-site renewable and/or low carbon (i.e. Combined Heat and Power) energy supply systems.

13 CP4 Affordable Housing  45% of all new housing to be affordable  Development resulting in a net gain of one or more dwellings expected to contribute  Consider commuted payments towards provision off site
