7 The Scheme excludes the following products: High price or luxury furniture products School Furniture Hospital Furniture Clinical Furniture

8 Application Process Online Application via http://tenders.nsw.gov.auhttp://tenders.nsw.gov.au 2 Supplier Lists: Base and Advanced Base Registered Supplier List: low risk contracts valued up to $100,000 each Advanced Registered Supplier List: all contracts including over $100,000 and high risk contracts

9 Application Process Single or multiple Categories and Regions Manufacturer status Always open No limit on the number of registered suppliers

10 Assessment Schedule Quarterly basis Initial Applications cut off date: 28 Nov 2014 Initial Assessment: Dec 2014 Subsequent cut off dates: end of March, June, Sept & Dec Subsequent Assessment: April, July, Oct & Jan

11 Assessment Schedule Successful suppliers will be advised by email A list of Successful supplier will be published on ProcurePoint The Furniture Scheme is expected to start in Feb 2015

12 Acceptance Criteria – Mandatory Requirement Valid ABN Fulfilling commercial furniture orders in Australia for longer than 3 years ISO9001 Quality Management System Certification Evidence of financial security Compliance to Scheme conditions

13 Acceptance Criteria – Mandatory Requirement Compliance to Customer Contract Minimum Public and Product Liability Insurance Compliance to Statement of Requirements Acceptance of Purchasing Cards

14 Minimum Requirements for Base Registered Supplier List Credit Report or Letter from Independent Accountant Evidence of over 3 years in Business 3 Referee reports ISO9001 certification

15 Minimum Requirements for Advanced Registered Supplier List Allow independent company to conduct Financial Checks Evidence of over 5 years in business 3 referee reports showing supply over $100,000 in single projects ISO9001 and ISO14001 (by May 2015) certification

16 Changes to Supplier Status Change from a Base to Advanced List Change of Categories Change of Regions

17 Supplier Reporting Every 3 months in the format provided First report due end of April 2015 for Jan to March quarter Review after 6 months

18 Statement of Requirements All products supplied to be tested in an accredited lab. Independently certified for Australian and NZ Standards or BIFMA or British standards Accepted lab are AFRDI or other labs accredited by NATA or International Accreditation NZ Products manufactured and assembled in factories with ISO 9001

19 Statement of Requirements Permanent label with company name and contact detail Labels for adjustment instruction for all chairs After installation, all packaging and rubbish must be removed from site

20 Statement of Requirements Default Standard Delivery Time: 2 weeks for catalogue products and 6 weeks for custom-made Emergency Delivery: within 24 hours for Metro and 48 hours for Regional

21 Statement of Requirements 10 years min warranty for Seating with 5 star caster base and 5 years min warranty for all other Seating 10 years min warranty for Steel Furniture, Workstations, Desktops and Tables 5 years min warranty for other Furniture not listed above 5 years min warranty for Recycled and Refurbished (Workstations and Steel Furniture)
