DIRECTIONS: You have been commissioned to design your very own dream house. The sky is the limit; money is no object! Let your creativity guide you. Provide a detailed description of the layout, using at least 25 prepositional phrases. Underline each prepositional phrase and then circle its object (the noun or pronoun following the preposition). EXAMPLES: When you walk into the house, you will see a grand staircase leading to the second floor. Chandeliers of glass hang in the foyer to create an elegant atmosphere. The swimming pool behind the house is surrounded by tropical plants and flowers; a waterfall leads swimmers to the ocean. Pictures of country meadows will be found throughout the house. Your DESCRIPTION should be accompanied with a VISUAL of some sort displaying your dream house. The visual may be a drawing, computer-generated illustration, or diagram of a floor plan.
