SOCSO’s RTW Program This program is established with the objective of assisting SOCSO’s Insured Persons with employment injury as well as those claiming for invalidity pension to be able to return to work. Social Security Organisation of Malaysia

Lessons learnt All parties need to be involved (from the worker, family members, employers, co-workers to medical fraternity, allied health services, etc) Legal Mandate is important Implementation varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction Not a 100m dash but a “Marathon“ – such programmes take time to establish and deliver visible results
