Malaysia Report 2005 – Radiotherapy Planning EQUIPMENT MAINTENENCE l Contract with manufacturer varies with hospital – Comprehensive and non-comprehensive programs – Unexpected expensive repairs may cause downtime while getting budget for repair – No in-house expertise – Few hospitals have in-house engineering department for maintenance of equipment
