Three-Dimensional Figures Vocabulary 1.On the iPad, click on the app called Flashcardlet. 2.Click on Flashcards. 3.Choose Three Dimensional Figures Vocab. 4.Choose Study in lower right corner of pop-up box. 5.Select New Study Session 6.Select Random Order and Not Filtered (Do not select anything else) 7.Click on Start Studying at the bottom 8.Read the definition and guess the vocabulary word. 9.To check your answer, tap the card. 10.To go to the next card, swipe up from the bottom of the card to throw it to the back. 11.Do not click the check or the star on the card. This task uses:Flashcardlet. Learning Objective(s): TSW use vocabulary concerning 3 dimensional figures appropriately. TSW recognize written/verbal descriptions of 3 dimensional figures. Identify the 3 Dimensional Figure 1.Use your iPad/electronic device and go to kahoot.it.comkahoot.it.com 2.Enter the game pin 666717 3.Watch the screen carefully and find the correct answer. 4.Enter/hit the color square on the bottom that corresponds to your answer. This task uses: Kahoot iPad/other electronic device. Learning Objective(s): TSW identify 3 Dimensional figures. TSW use vocabulary associated with 3 Dimensional figures correctly. Tellagami 1.Open the Tellagami App on your iPad. 2.Go through the “How To” steps on creating your Tellagami, if necessary. 3.Create your Tellagami by picking your character, emotion, background. 4.For your “message” either record your message or type in the text. 5.Your message should consist of describing what 2 dimensional shapes are used to create: triangular prisms, cylinders, triangular pyramids, square pyramids. 6.Share your Tellagami by emailing it to me at deidre.buller@cpsb.org.deidre.buller@cpsb.org 7.Make sure that your name is in the subject line of the email. This task uses: Learning Objective(s): TSW demonstrate their understanding of creating 3 dimensional shapes from 2 dimensional shapes. Educreations 1.Open the Educreations App on the iPad. 2.Select a 3 Dimensional shape from the list: triangular prisms, cylinders, triangular pyramids, square pyramids. 3.Find a picture of your shape that you can import to add to your presentation. (You will need to go to Chrome and do a Google Images search for this.) 4.Draw a top, side, and front view of your shape using the pencil on the Educreations app. 5.Record your message explaining exactly how you knew what each view would look like. 6.Save your Educreations to the Camera Roll. 7.Email it to me at deidre.buller@cpsb.org.
