1. We were made righteous when we were born again.

7. Develop a Righteousness-Consciousness
Righteousness is the ability to stand in the presence of the Father without a sense of guilt, condemnation or inferiority (as though sin had never existed).
We had sin-consciousness.
I Cor. 15:34 – Awake to Righteousness!
A righteousness-consciousness is a victory- consciousness in Christ.

8. Righteousness is the Objective of Redemption
SONSHIP would be worthless without righteousness. We would be cowards instead of sons.
PRAYING BEGINS TO WORK. (1 Peter 3:12; James 5:16) when we understand righteousness.
John 17:23 becomes a heartfelt REALITY; My Father loves me as much as He loved Jesus.
We are not honouring our place as sons if we do not take our place in righteousness.

The sin-consciousness verses the righteousness- consciousness. Note:
The sin-consciousness never acts boldly; it always hesitates.
The sin-consciousness requires some physical evidence that God is moving.
The righteousness-consciousness knows God is moving because he asked Him to.

As sons, joint heirs, we have been made the righteousness of God: Romans 5:15-18; 10:3-10; II Cor 5:17-21, 6:14 Matthew 5:6 – They shall be filled! Every child of God has the same standing with the Father because righteousness cannot be obtained through works (Rom 9:30-32)

Righteousness is a FORCE (Isa. 32:17). I Cor – It will stop sin.

24. ABRAHAM came to understand the RIGHTEOUSNESS GOD GAVE.
What shall we say? Abraham had faith and it was credited to him as righteousness – a gift from God (Rom 4:1-8). He found God would treat him as if he has never sinned. He didn’t need to be afraid of facing God directly.

Righteousness is a robe that God throws over you to allow you to stand before him and speak freely as well as you intercede for those who are weaker and need your assistance. Satan will try to dissuade you because of your humanity.
