Country HR Manager Purpose Responsible for leading and directing the HR function on a regional level, specifically directing and managing the administration of all Dufry HR policies and procedures. Key Accountabilities Recruitment, Hiring, Evaluation, Training, Termination Responsible for maintaining high quality HR standards as it relates to HR metrics, implementation of policy and procedures Adapt and ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered by staff and managers Provide strategic and operational HR counseling Collaborate with management and staff to ensure performance optimization Workforce planning and budgeting, HR controlling and reporting Negotiate and finalize offer letters and employment processes for new hires and promotions Recruitment, succession planning and ensuring qualitative on-boarding program for new hires Monitor performance and MBO process, incl. managing performance appraisal, bonus and salary review process Maintain market focused salaries and incentives programs Ensure effective personnel administration Support Managers with employee development Supervise work time / shift planning by Shop Manager Manage the time registration tool and the absence list, incl. monitoring and revising time recording of employees and vacation planning Management of payroll and social insurances, as well as coordination of annual salary review Maintain compliance with local regulations and legislation concerning employment Ensure Disciplinary Procedure are follow as per company policies Responsible to maintain personnel and admin istration cost in line with budget Category Manager Position in Organization Potential Progression to Regional HR Director September 2010 R3 DUFRY Organization and Human Resources Department Key Relationships ARM Regional HR Director Regional Finance/IT DCOO Shop Manager Employees External service providers Location Shanghai, China Measures Customers People Operations Finance Targets as per Corporate Performance Appraisal and MBO Policies. Specific Requirements Sound knowledge of Country employment regulations Fluent in English and Chinese, additional languages as applicable for Country Additional or Local Requirements to Standard Role As requested by the Deputy of COO or Regional HR Director Hands-on to handle full spectrum of HR duties; Independent, mature, analytical, tactful and willing to take up challenge. Proactive, structured, meticulous, well-organized and resourceful problem solver. Scope Human Resources Experience Required Essential: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, HR or Psychology, at least 3 years experience in Human Resources Management, knowledge of local employment law and legislation Desirable: Experience in the travel retail industry.
