Tabular and Graphical Presentation Construct a summary table of the mutual fund categorized by risk and interpret the results. Construct a bar chart for the level of risk of mutual funds based on summary table you constructed above and interpret the results. Construct a pie chart for the level of risk of mutual funds based on summary table you constructed above and interpret the results. The 868 mutual funds that are part of the scenario are classified according to their risk level, categorized as low, average and high. The data you can find in data worksheet of the Mutual Funds.xls.
9
Tabular and Graphical Presentation Construct a cross tabulations of the funds by risk level and whether the funds main objective was growth or value, and interpret the results.(pivottable report)
10
Tabular and Graphical Presentation Suppose you are interested in comparing the 2006 return for growth and vales mutual funds. Construct frequency distribution, relative frequency distribution, percentage and cumulative percentage distribution for the growth funds and the value funds, and interpret the results. Construct histograms for the growth funds and the value funds. Construct percentage polygons and cumulative percentage polygons for the 2006 return for growth funds and value funds.
11
Numerical Measures Calculate separate descriptive summary measures of the 2006 returns for growth and value mutual fund. Find the five number of the 2006 returns for growth and value mutual funds.
