Queen Drone Worker Honey bees are hymenopteran insects under the phylum arthropoda. 50000 to 100000 individual can live in a hive. Bees strictly sustain their principles. There are 3 castes in honey bees.

There is only one queen per hive Queen is the largest cast in the colony. It lays up to 2000 eggs per day. Life-span is 3-5 years. Queen controls the hive.

There are 300-3000 drone bees in hive. They are only for mating.

The smallest member in the hive. There are 60000-80000 bees in the hive. Worker engage in feeding, cleaning, nursing and defending.
