4 State Longitudinal Data Systems (SLDS) Since 2006, Ohio has received 4 SLDS grants Goals: –Improve data quality –Develop a P-20 Data Warehouse

5 Ohio Education Research Center (OERC) Established in Ohio’s Race to the Top (RttT) Application (Area A(3)) Goals: –Develop a coherent research agenda –Conduct research related to RttT –Develop self-sustainability

6 Ohio Education Research Center (OERC) RttT Funding Provides for: –Initial third party management –Seed money for research grants related to RttT priority areas –Support for research and communications –Annual conference
