4. The long trip of the Pilgrims on the Mayflower They travelled in 1620. They left from Plymouth in England to go to Plymouth rock in Massachusetts. It wasn’t a fast trip. It took 66 days. There were 102 passengers (51 men, 21 boys, 20 wo- -men ). Because the weather was very bad the ship stopped at Cape Cod in Massachuchets and not at the Hudson River.
