2 The use of the Mayflower The Pilgrims were a religious group. They disagreed with the religion in England at the time. So, they wanted to be free to practice their religion. They took the Mayflower to go America.

4 The long trip of the Pilgrims on the Mayflower They travelled in 1620. They left from Plymouth in England to go to Plymouth rock in Massachusetts. It wasn’t a fast trip. It took 66 days. There were 102 passengers (51 men, 21 boys, 20 wo- -men ). Because the weather was very bad the ship stopped at Cape Cod in Massachuchets and not at the Hudson River. Marilyn Monroe, Clint Eastwood, Hugh Hefner, Orson Welles and plenty of celebrities are descendants of passengers of the Mayflower …..
