Getting the Vocab Take 5 minutes to brainstorm with a partner what vocabulary you would use in English to talk about music. Write down 6 words or phrases in English and then we will talk about how to say that in Spanish.

Reggaeton Reggaeton is a genre of Latin music. It is a mix of reggae, hip hop, and Latin rhythms. It is said to have first been played in Panama, but it is generally thought of as being from Puerto Rico. It evolved as a genre of music in the 1990s.
