Why is prevention so important 1/9 cancers, 1/5 cancer deaths, are due to smoking 3% of cancers are related to alcohol direct result of dietary influences, from infectious agents or exposure to radiation some cancers result from inherited genes cancer is NOT caused by injury or stress.
