1 The Discovery Dome, sponsored by the MMS Mission and the “Future Space” program, reached over 3100 people during the three days of the USA Science and Engineering Festival, April 27-29. In addition, over 1500 “Space Weather” CD’s were distributed, plus more MMS handouts including the pattern for the popups and patterns for the Maxwell Tetrahedron. 3 Martha.Wawro@NASA.gov Partnership with US Peace Corps The SDO EPO team in partnership with the United States Peace Corps provided educational materials, including the Sun Earth Day packet, to 500 American education volunteers in 30 countries worldwide. These packets will be used by volunteers in their classrooms and communities to educate about the sun, the transit of Venus, and NASA. Helio Nugget: SDO Partnership with US Peace Corps
