4 4 1. Restoration consisted of placing 900 Truckloads of clean fill (26,000 cy) to raise canal bottom from -35 feet Mean Low Water (MLW) to -7.7 feet MLW 2. Project started March 5, 2015 and completed July 3, 2015 3. Benefits: DO readings were below the standard 98% of the time before the restoration but after they were above the standard 100% of the time; return of sea life, revegetation of canal bottom
