3.   The future proche is used to express what you are going to do in the near future.  You must use the present tense form of aller that agrees with the subject plus an infinitive.

4.   Je vais faire les magasins.  I’m going to go shopping  Qu’est-ce que tu vas chercher ?  What are you going to look for?

5.   To make a negative sentence, put ne (n’) before the form of aller and pas after it.

6.   Antoine ne va pas porter son costume noir.  Antoine is not going to wear his black suit.

7.   Using the futur proche, write down the following sentences in French.  They are not going to go shopping at the boutique.  Ils ne vont pas faire les magasins à la boutique.  I am going to watch a movie.  Je vais regarder un film.
