Training programs are specifically geared to meet the needs of local employers looking for quality employees. Our goal is to stimulate the workforce by giving employees a path to industry specific training that will prepare them to enter the workforce with local established businesses.

For the 2 nd year in a row, a team of Smart employees applied & received a grant awarded through The Women’s Fund. This grant is specific to helping women in our community gain work readiness skills to ensure their success in the workforce. The credential is an 8 week program that tests the individual’s skills in 4 components: Reading, Active Listening, Math and Situational Judgment. Areas that need improvement are studied and client receives credential upon successfully passing the accredited test. We successfully met our goal to have 10 women successfully complete this credential within the 1 st year’s grant.
